I participated in StampinGala’s Card Swap, which was my very first one! I wanted to showcase the beautiful sunflower (Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set), and decided to go full out with an intense background. There were 6 steps to create the background alone, building up layer by layer. Since I had to make 11 of them to be mailed, I did not want to create volume by using dimensionals for layers, but instead created tons of dimension by layering coordinating color with brushes, stencils and stamps.
I am really happy with how they turned out, and hope the recipients like them as well. Now I just have to wait for all others to be sent to me 😉
